Last summer, as the Cataclysm content became very stale, I decided to start messing around with an aspect of WoW that I had never paid much attention to, Gold Making. Over the last year I have discovered an element of this game that surprised me very. There is a competitive community of people who thrive on the challenge of making gold and it is every bit as competitive as a Battleground and can be as crude and ruthless as the LFR chat logs. This community for the most part exists in the shadows, as naked level 1 toons standing near the mailbox or auctioneer. If you have wondered why you can seldom sell anything on the auction house or are usually very low on gold, or why the price of that enchant is so high, it is this community that does it. Just like the PvE player who wonders unprepared into an open world skirmish, the unprepared will remain poor. The nickname of this aspect of WoW, Auction House PvP, is aptly named.
Now that I am a self-proclaimed WoW Millionaire I feel I can offer some words of wisdom for those who are interested. Choosing what to discuss isn’t always the easiest task, so for that feel free to ask some questions and I will do what I can to answer them.
In some upcoming posts I will address topics such as addons, internet resources and some tips for the casual player using the auction house.
